A RESPONSIBLE APPROACH
ATELJE KAIA combines long use, made-to-order production and careful handling of packaging materials.
LONG USE
Flowers are shaped by hand from soy wax or natural beeswax. Decorative designs without a wick keep their arranged form for a long time and are intended for repeated use at home, in restaurants, hotels, salons and business spaces.
Each piece is made to order. This limits surplus stock and the use of materials for products that may not find a customer.
We make the agreed design, quantity and colour without unnecessary stock.
A decorative flower does not wilt, needs no water and keeps its arrangement for a long time.
Glass vessels, domes, wooden lids and bases can be kept and used again.
Paper, cardboard and paper filling are preferred. Protective plastic is used for fragile items where safe transport requires it.
BIODEGRADABILITY AND SORTING
Individual parts have different compositions. Glass, wood, paper, cardboard, ribbons and protective filling should be sorted according to their material after use.
We state biodegradability only for a material supported by suitable supplier documentation. We do not describe the entire product as biodegradable when it contains glass, adhesive, ribbon, colourant, a base or other components.
Our approach focuses on long use, replaceable parts, reusable vessels and limiting unnecessary packaging.
TWO PRODUCT TYPES
Decorative pieces have no wick and are not made for burning. Flower candles include a wick and use instructions.
CARE
Wax reacts to heat and direct sunlight. The right location helps preserve its form and colour.
Keep the product indoors without major temperature changes.
Avoid sunny windowsills and placing the product directly beside hot glass.
Keep the product away from radiators, fireplaces, heaters and hot surfaces.
Wipe glass with a soft cloth. Clean the flower with a gentle stream of air.
